London Reuse Network is the hub for those who wish to volunteer to support there local community, the organisations on this site offer a range of positions from drivers to working in there shop, not only is this a way to help its also motivating too.

Skilled or Unskilled

We welcome all types of people from those who have skills to unskilled people who just want ot get out the house for a a period of time per week and support there local project. You can contact your local reuse project directly or alternatively you can email us on volunteer@londonreusenetwork for help and advice.

Time Commitment

  • Typically one day a week or less by arrangement
  • Training will be provided

What do London Reuse Network volunteers actually do?

With a variety of jobs, we beleive there is something for everyone including:

  • Dealing with customers – by phone or in person
  • Helping in the showroom with stock taking or placement
  • Delivering orders to families
  • Sales person – selling items to those who call into the shop
  • Managing Facebook and social media marketing
  • Marketing products available for sale on the likes of Gumtree and other sites.
  • Doing furniture collections
  • Carrying out furniture repairs
